I have always loved decorating and making crafts for Halloween. Making pumpkins, quilts, and cute little witch dolls were always my favorite, but after visiting Salem, Mass. last Halloween, I was inspired to make a little baby Dracula and Frankenstein dolls that were not so scary, but cute and adorable. I wanted to challenge myself by using only one piece of computer paper as the pattern for the doll. Once I made the adorable Halloween dolls that I named Lil Frank, and Baby Dracs, I was hooked, and continued to make more. After showing the dolls to my students they wanted to make them. So I decided to have a “Not So Scary Monster’s Party.” I ended up holding five workshops in one weekend and then three the following weekend. This ended up being our most popular workshop. Here is a video from our fun Halloween “Monsters Workshop.”
